Battle Planner program features
MASTER LIST:
The Master List contains a listing of all available game pieces (figures, cards or whatever). The listing includes all data available about each piece. Columns may be rearranged in whatever order you prefer, and may be hidden from the "Columns" box in the Filter Window. The list may be sorted by any criteria simply by clicking the column header. Pieces may be double-clicked to add them to your inventory and right clicking provides other options.
INVENTORY LIST:
Much like the Master List, the Inventory List provides a list of all the game pieces in your collection. In addition to all the columns available in the Master List, the Inventory List provides columns for "Count" (Number of this item in your inventory), "Goal Count" (The number of this piece you would like to own), "Trade" and "Want" (The number of this piece you have for trade or want). Count and Goal Count may be adjusted using the + and - buttons next to the number. Trade and Want are calculated based on your Count/Goal Count. Pieces may be double-clicked to add them to your current Army, and right clicking provides other options.
ARMY LIST:
The Army List lists the pieces within your current army (or deck for card games). You can view the army using the new "Tree View" option, which allows attachment of units to one another, or the classic "List View" which has all the same information available in the Master List, plus a "Count" column. The Count may be adjusted using the + and - buttons next to the number. The Missing section will warn you of any pieces in the army that you do not have in your current inventory.
STATS WINDOWS:
The Stats Windows provide a quick look at all the stats for a single game piece. This window may be viewed horizontally, vertically or floated in s separate window. There is also an option to view two pieces side by side to quickly compare stats.
REPORTS:
Battle Planner generates several reports on your inventory and Armies. Reports generate and .HTML (Web) document which may be viewed and printed outside of Battle Planner. The Master Report generates a list of pieces for the game. The Inventory Report generates a report of the pieces you own. The Trade Report generates a list of your trades/wants. The Crib Sheet contains the stats of the pieces in your current Army. The Army Report is a list of the pieces in your current Army. The Scorecard is a tournament scorecard listing the details of your Army and includes a chart to record wins and losses. Many of these reports may be filtered to generate specific reports.
FILTERS:
Any list view (Master, Inventory, Army and Reports) has an attached filter. Filters "slide out" from the left of the list by clicking the '>' button. Filters are one of the most powerful features of Battle Planner. They allow you to search for a particular piece or to search for a piece that fits particular criteria, so that you can fill your army with the right piece for the job. The available filters will vary by game, but generally include costs, factions, abilities, expansion/release, rarity and many other items.
